- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Base cost for tax preparation is $180, and it will increase depending upon forms used while preparing your taxes. Overall average fees of tax prep $275-400. Accounting fees is $70/hour. We provide discounts for veterans/active military, first responders, doctors/nurses, and teachers and loyalty discounts for after 1 year of being a client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process is I would like to look at previous tax returns up to 2 years worth to use as a bit of a baseline. For businesses, I would look at the last 1 to 2 years of financial data(income statements, balance sheets, etc.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Accounting and I have been doing work mainly on the tax side since 2008, starting my business after I retired from meteorology.
