Jane has been a lifesaver with our home update. She is literally the reason we got though our bathroom and flooring remodel. She helped us find contractors we could trust, choose floors/paint/EVERYTHING! We couldn't pick a floor or paint color for months, then in came Jane and we had decisions made in 2 meetings. It was incredible and took so much stress off us. Jane has an incredible eye for color, and is so supportive of *our* vibe. She doesn't push whatever is current in the design world. She asked us questions about our lives, how we use our spaces, and the feel we wanted. And then she made it happen. We love our floors, the new paint colors, the clean look to our bathroom. We are so excited to continue working with Jane on more rooms, and 10/10 recommend her to anyone needing just a little guidance, or help with their entire home.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Jane Brookman of Jane Brookman Designs, and I can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Based on the project requirements, there are two options available. Option#1. Hourly Rate for the following... - Furniture selection, Selecting materials for the bathroom, kitchen and other areas. - A walk thru consultation for designing tips throughout the house - The Space layout designs like floor plans for a kitchen or a bathroom. Option# 2 - A flat fee for the whole project. It will be some percentage of the budget
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with a consultation at the job site, or residence with the client to discuss their needs for the project. I like to find out all the details and expectations they have for their project. As well as, getting to know them and their design style. Once finding out a little more about the person and there project it's a lot easier to develop a design concept that will fit diverse lifestyles.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Interior Design from Bellevue College's CIDA-accredited design program, and have been working in the design field since 2009. I attend color trend events, trend forecasting related articles/ webinars or local classes, ASID/ NWSID events, Design Center and lighting store classes.
