FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a Montessori teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching children. My passion is teaching children to read and helping parents and others learn to do this. nching my new public speaking career so I am flexible and willing to work with groups to find what works for them, especially church groups and homeschool groups. I would charge a minimum of $100.00 per hour unless we come to another agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers, I will meet on Zoom or in-person to discuss their needs and goals so I can customize my instruction or presentation. I will make a plan and share that plan of how I would like to coach them, help them meet family educational needs in their home, or hold a seminar for a particular group with a particular focus. With all of this sharing, I will emphasize in detail how children learn and dempnstrate how to use the reading materials. I want to understand the needs of the customer and how I can customize my work to fit those needs. I really like to know what population I will be presenting to so that this really is effective for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in education, with an emphasis in Montessori; and two Montessori Certificates; one for early childhood (preschool) and one for elementary 6-12 years old (elementary). I have taught Montessori in the primary (early childhood) and in the elementary classroom for over 20 years, worked with religious education for many different ages for 25 years, and also homeschooled my own six children for a period of time.
