FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I actually work in tech as my full time career and have been in the industry since 1998. I learned how to DJ on my own back in high school in 1989 when the systems were all analog starting on cheap home turntables and evolving into professional digital equipment. When I started out, I would stay up late at night beat matching and then one day I listened to a mix tape where it was at that moment when I discovered the proper timing for when to transition songs. The rest is history!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of gigs I have been involved in are nightclubs, weddings, house parties, birthday parties, and corporate events.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I did a large setup for a wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seattle which included sound and uplighting for the ceremony, music for cocktails, MC services, slideshow creation, projector setup, coordination of the evening, uplighting during reception, dance lighting, and provided music throughout. The day started from 11:30am and were done at 1:45am. The entire wedding event was a success.
