Shaun S. says, "Working with Greg Konen at Valor CG was a great experience. I had an interior designer design the space. Greg reviewed the plans, gave me a bid/budget based on “average” finishes (as I asked since I hadn’t picked anything out), and proposed a fast schedule compared to other contractors. The finished project is more than I expected. A few things to note: 1. I decided to go with higher end finishes including marble floors, several tiled walls instead of drywall/paint, and designer fixtures. The budget never changed. 2. The interior designer missed on a few measurements and an exterior window needed to replaced to fit the space. I paid for the new window and Valor CG didn’t change the budget even though it was more framing and exterior work. 3. Structural issues pop up when you start opening walls in an older home. Greg walked me through the process as those occurred, we changed the interior design based on what we saw, and moved forward. AGAIN, no budget changes even though it pushed the schedule a few weeks and it was certainly not in the original bid/budget. Even though the schedule shifted slightly, the revised schedule due to the structural issues was met. 4. The crew is top notch! They are not the typical crew you get with a residential remodel. These are experienced trades(wo)men at their craft. I work in highrise development as an engineer and was surprised that I recognized some of the people working on my remodel were working on my highrise developments. Bottom line: A project comes down to scope, schedule and budget. It’s a 3-legged stool. If one leg drops, the whole project can be a failure. I can fully vouch that Valor CG made sure that the stool stood throughout the process. The budget let never changed (even though scope due to structural issues changed), and the schedule was met. Well, I could not have been more pleased and delighted with their work! They are professional, timely, thorough. In fact, midway through my hardscape project I hired them to do another yard project and also repair my fence, because not only did they have the skills, I also had that much faith in them. Firstly, everyone that is part of the crew is considerate, kind, and extremely hard working. Second, the team is always happy to help source quality materials for a good cost. Throughout this process I have never once felt like I was being ripped off or pushed into using more expensive materials than my budget allowed. TS pavers has worked closely with me to stick to my budget, all while never sacrificing quality. For context, this project is a complete redo of our backyard as we inherited it from the previous owner 5 years ago. The previous owner left the yard as a work in progress, which included tons of used and unused concrete blocks and bricks and boulders of all colors and shapes lying around. We are finally in a place to make the backyard our own but first needed to sort through the existing pile of materials and get them out of there. What's really amazing about this project is that we were able to salvage a lot of the existing material, versus paying an arm and a leg to have it all hauled away. It still matches and looks great with all the new materials, too! So this has saved us a ton of money on removal and material fees. Asking to repurpose old material can be tricky but I was never made to feel cheap for suggesting it. I'm thrilled that the team was able to meet me creatively and help make this happen. Lastly, I'm absolutely ASTONISHED with the results so far. Again, it's not even done but the quality of the work is perfect and beyond my expectations. The team considered existing backyard features and somehow, despite how wacky the backyard was before, everything is perfectly level now. The new pavers meet with the steps perfectly, the turf meets with the steps, too. It's a dream come true. Finally having such a usable and enjoyable outdoor space in the city feels so special. Our backyard completes the property and is a safe place for my kids to play freely within the privacy of our new little urban oasis. I highly, HIGHLY recommend working with TS pavers. They've outdone themselves. I'll update this review with before and after photos once we're 100% done in the next week or two."See more

Excellent and efficient work done to extend my patio, remove old cedar chips and install decorative rock. Responded lightning fast to my request with an consultation and estimate. We were able to proceed with the project that week as they had another project reschedule. Finished the job well before the estimated time that was planned. The outcome is exactly what I wanted.
