Introduction

Greetings! My name is Keshia Pride. I have always been an avid and resourceful planner. The calling was bestowed upon me by my mother as I watched her each year plan detailed themed birthday parties for myself and three siblings all with birthdays nested in each of the four seasons. I enjoyed coming up with ideas, decorating, and seeing it all unfold on event day. As I grew older, event planning was just an insentient hobby that followed me everywhere. As an undergrad member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, I assisted in planning numerous parties, fundraisers, service events, and baby showers. As an active member of the Army National Guard and now graduate member of my local Zeta Phi Beta chapter, I have successfully led the event planning and execution of countless conferences, meetings, social outings, teambuilding functions, and formal galas. Fast-forwarding to the more recent future, in 2017 I founded my own business with the intent of taking my experience and expertise to the world. I am a mother to 3 gorgeous children, 1 girl and 2 boys. My husband and I both have served on active duty in the Army National Guard for more than 17 years. I hold a BA from Western Michigan University in 2006, a MSA from Central Michigan University in 2009, and have recently earned my PhD in Business Management from Capella University in 2019. With a pedigree like mine and serving our great country in uniform, I must take a lot of Pride in all that I do.

Keisha was our day of decorator. I contacted her a week before my wedding, frazzled and unsure of decorations. She asked me about colors and my vision. Her extra touches and attention to detail was immaculate. I can not even put into words how beautiful her work was. You will not be disappointed in using Pride Planning services. Keshia was a great help with planning our wedding. She was easy to work with and helped us stay on track with the long list of wedding to-dos. She was our advocate and voice when navigating extremely challenging moments with our wedding venue and another vendor making sure we got the experience we deserved as the bride and groom. We loved having access to her decor warehouse as well, it was a great help for planning and budgeting. Also, she has a great network of vendors she recommended for all of our ideas during the planning process. We appreciate having her on our team and not sure how we would have gotten through the wedding planning process without her.

Keshia and her team not only made our wedding day run smoothly, but were there every step of the way as we created the reflection of who we are for our special day. We feel lucky to have had Keshia as our coordinator because she gave sound advice and was a huge help during the planning process. She also had some great vendor recommendations that we ended up using. The part where we felt that Keshia and her team went truly above and beyond was in the setup of our day, especially in regards to setting up the floral arrangements. We were so grateful for her care and expertise.

After the initial consultation we provide a written proposal for the client to make a decision to move forward with booking us if we are good fit.
