- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All of our pricing includes basic delivery and drop-off setup. If you need full styling, table setups, or more than a quick placement, that’s considered an elevated service and will incur a setup fee. We don’t offer discounts — but every dollar is poured into premium ingredients, soul-satisfying flavor, and food that looks as good as it tastes. Custom menus are available within reason, but our set offerings were crafted with intention. We don’t cut corners — and you’ll taste that in every bite.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts with a vibe check. You tell us your date, guest count, vibe (casual trays or themed catering?), and any dietary needs. We’ll walk you through our curated menu and help you select options that suit your taste and occasion. Want a few tweaks or a themed spin? Let’s talk. But if you’re just looking for good food, fast — pick your trays, lock it in, and we’ll handle the rest. No fuss, no frills, just flavor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was raised in the kitchen by a woman who made everything from scratch and still found time to laugh, dance, and feed half the neighborhood. My mother ran her own bakery and soul food business, Gert’s Desserts, and I’ve carried that torch with recipes of my own. I’m ServSafe certified, but more than that — I’ve learned to season with love, layer flavors that linger, and create food that makes people close their eyes when they taste it.
