Introduction

When choosing a DJ for your next event, make sure you are hiring a professional and not a hobbyist. I am an award-winning DJ based in the DC, MD, and VA area. My style of music comes from my background of serving in the US Army, those whom I served with, and the places I have traveled. In a short amount, I have rose to the ranks of being one of the top DJ's in the Northern Virginia area. My work has received multiple honors & reviews, to include a Thumbtack Best of 2016 award. I make sure that I provide the best quality in music and provide the best sound for your event. I spin an open format of music that varies from Hip Hop, Old School, R&B, Dance, Latin, and Pop. My vast knowledge of music and knack for incorporating the craziest mixes into my sets will ensure an epic time whenever I host a party!!!

DJ Hot Boi was awesome!!! He was hired for my daughter's Sweet 16 and he was absolutely fabulous. First he is friendly, professional and punctual. He insisted on getting together with us, prior to our event to find out exactly what type of music my daughter and her guests wanted to hear. He was very open to all of her song requests and assured her that she is the customer and he aims to please the customer. That really relieved my daughter and he made her feel like the night belonged to her. He played a wide variety of music and kept the crowd "teenagers mostly" and some adults...on the dance floor all night!!! It was a turn-up party because of his services and we had a great time....I highly recommend DJ Hot Boi and will use him in the future for all of our events. Super nice and he knows his music also!!!

DJ Hot BOI Entertained My daughters Sweet 16 Party in Jacksonville FL. When the Kids got on the floor they didn't come off until 4 hours later. My DJ for President!!!

DJ Hot Boi, DJ'd a 60th birthday party this past February. He was very flexible with the changing schedules and events throughout the party never missing a beat. He kept the mixed ages crowd moving throughout the entire night.

Eric was absolutely incredible. He was the dj for my wedding and really went out of his way for my wife and I. Eric did a wonderful job communicating and making sure that everyone was on the same page when it came to the playlist and how the night was going to go. His flexibility in working alongside our wedding coordinator was great! He didn't try to "run the show", but went with the flow of things. We are so thankful for Eric and highly recommend him for any event. He really was great to have on our special day.

FAQs

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I could give is to check their reviews, and/or ask for references. Anyone can buy a set of turntables and laptop and call them self a DJ. What I have noticed is that many DJ's don't even provide mixes/samples of their work. If iTunes can provide a snippet of a song prior to purchase,...then a DJ can to! When selecting you DJ, choose a professional and not a hobbyist.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before talking to a DJ about your project, it is great that the customer know what type of music they want played. If you know you have diverse crowd at your event, try to talk to your guests and ask what type of music they like.
