Introduction

I have a flexible approach to teaching and I tailor my lessons to accommodate each individual student's learning style. I focus on building a strong foundation of fundamental musical skills while also fostering creativity and working within genres and styles my students enjoy. I teach techniques including Beatbox Flute, Circular Breathing, Improvisation, Composition, Multiphonics, Efficient Warm-Up and Practice Techniques, and many more. I enjoy helping students of all ages discover and explore the joy of making music! Because the COVID-19 pandemic has rendered most in-person music lessons (especially flute) too risky, I’ve transitioned to teaching online. There were certainly some challenges to overcome in the beginning but I’ve found that the digital format is actually quite conducive to one-on-one learning. I look forward to continuing to innovate new teaching methods as we all continue to adapt to the present situation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*** For a Limited Time: New students signing up will receive their second lesson free of charge. Payment for the first lesson must be made in advance. The complimentary second lesson will be the same length as the first.*** $30/half-hour lesson $55/hour lesson
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is usually spent getting to know each other so I can figure out where you are on your musical journey and how I can best help you get to where you want to go. I'll ask you to play something you're already comfortable with and help you create a plan to work on the specific elements of your sound that need to be developed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in flute performance from New York University, a Bachelor's in music theory and composition from West Chester University, and have been teaching privately for over 13 years.
