Introduction

My teaching environment is relaxed, and I shape my lessons to the musical tastes of the students. I am offering private guitar lessons for beginners and intermediate players on both acoustic and electric guitar. I teach various styles of rock, blues, pop, and country guitar. Reggie is a patient and knowledgeable teacher. Who keeps the lessons interesting by letting me play songs I like, while challenging me with new techniques. I always come away from a lesson feeling like I really can learn to play the guitar!

Out of the blue, I decided to purchase a guitar (with absolutely no prior experience). I've already had 2 lessons with Reggie; his style of teaching, and patience has given me the confidence I need as a beginner. Reggie is the best! I couldn't be happier with him as an instructor. I have so much fun during my lessons. Each lesson is a highlight of my week. He is laid back and fun, but also inspires me to practice and learn. Reggie is very patient and receptive to the student's goals, interests, and skill level. I am so happy I started lessons with him!

I began my guitar instruction with Reggie 2 years ago. Reggie challenges me with each lesson, but at the same time, makes the process fun & relaxing. Reggie is a professional musician & I feel very fortunate to have him for my instructor. Reggie is absolutely a "10" !

Reggie is a GREAT teacher! When I moved to Norfolk a year ago there was several years that I didn't play the guitar. Reggie adapted his methodology to my music knowledge and my music preferences. Classes are fun and you're always challenged to improve your skills. That's why I highly recommend Reggie. PS: of course I'm still his student!
