Mike Benetti construction is an awesome group! What they build they stand behind the work! Some people (I wont mention names) who try and trash Mike and his company with there nasty reviews are NASTY & CLUELESS!! We bought this home that Mike built and its solid! Just recently we had a large crack in our ceiling and even though Mike did not have to repair it after 3 years, he came in with his crew and repaired it so well that the crack wont happen again. And he had the whole ceiling repainted! Our ceiling looks GREAT! Mike is an extremely honest man and his crew are the best. We are lucky to know Mike and his people! Thanks Mike!!

We had a great experience with Mike and his company (shout out to Mitch as well!). We added on to the back of our house, creating an office, guest bedroom, full bath, extended our kitchen to include dining area and small bar, added a deck and updated our existing kitchen (cabinets, counter tops, added a new large island). His team also redid the floors and paint in the rest of the original first floor. They stayed on time and in budget. Communication was constant, timely and efficient. They went out of their way to create as little impact as possible on our daily lives for as long as possible (for example, built a temporary wall while expanding the back, etc). They even communicated with my neighbors ahead and often, which was really nice and helpful for keeping the peace in my cul de sac :) Overall we were extremely pleased with the project and the experience. Highly recommend!

Honestly more of a 3.5. Mike did deck remediation for us to the specifications drawn up for us by small potatoes engineering. The work was done to spec. It is a lot more solid than it was. We did ask for all stainless steel hardware, and as installed it is *mostly* SS. We also asked that he seal up the gap between the new ledger board and our siding, since there is a gap big enough to se the house wrap through. Mike did not do that. Unfortunately, I had already paid him in full when I learned of the gap, and when I spoke to him on the phone, he said he would put a strip of something over the gap to seal it, but he never came back. I would work with Mike again, but only if I could reserve 20% of the fee until I complete the final inspection. I would recommend anyone working with M. Binetti Construction in the future do something similar to ensure the work is done to your satisfaction and not only theirs.

I appreciate your review and will always reflect back to remain humble. Mind you, the piece of siding trim you requested was an extra piece of trim added to the deck transition to visually cover the transition under the deck. This trim was nothing more than 3/4” tall and would have been installed over flashing diverter, of which I told you we don’t like to cover up as it allows unwanted water to not drain out properly. I did say after a lot of contemplation, that I would come back to install for your satisfaction, not a per specs or plans. And I did not come back and do this trim, for that I apologize. However, to deduct 1/3 of a review for that is a bit much. I feel the work we provided for you was exactly per contract and specs. The engineer came out to inspect and approve the repairs we provided . Even the engineer commented the high quality work, saying it was exactly what he likes to see. We performed work above and beyond the scope of work in the contract. I never met you face to face, as we worked at your rental home the entire time without anybody home. That being said, we had to enter your house multiple times to unlock doors, access breaker panel, and perform inspections. Each time, I had to call you and let you know we were entering the home. I did just that. I also provided electrical work in the shed that wasn’t per specs or contract. I also painted the shed repairs and trim. Before we started the job, I recommended you rebuild the entire deck from scratch. The decks were built so poorly originally, that it didn’t make sense to retain any material. But we did upon your request, and did it well.
It was also your request that I take progress pictures at every stage including final completion. You wouldn’t pay me until the pictures were sent and the engineer approved the inspection. I personally cleaned up your project myself, and made sure it was spotless. You saw the pictures and approved inspection, and cut me the final check in the 16,000 range. After that, you called and said the gap was unsightly and you wanted me to add trim under the deck. This is 3/4” x 14’ single piece of shoe mold which I didn’t get around to handle. I can do this for you anytime, but would ask you to reconsider the review at 4.5 stars. Thank you Chris
