I needed a new bathroom put in my basement from scratch. I had 3 people come out and Scotties contracting was the one who I had the best feeling about. Stuart's price was extremely fair and he was very knowledgeable when you have questions before and while the project is going on. Lots of changes were made during the ongoing project and everything went smooth. Stuart is genuinely a nice guy and hard worker. He showed up at around the same time everyday and would get to work. You can trust him in your home when you're not there as well. Now let's get to what he did. Just take a look at the before and after pictures. There was just an open area in my basement and he turned it into a luxury bathroom that looks great! I also hired him to paint my basement right after cause i was happy with his work!!

We don’t have enough good things to say about Stuart! Not only is his work incredible but he’s also super nice and helpful! He recommended design options for our bathroom, he went to Home Depot and tile stores with us to help us pick out stuff, he was always responsive and always ready to do whatever it took to make sure our bathroom project turned out exactly as we wanted it, and most importantly he is the most punctual person I know. He always showed up on time every single day and for that we appreciate him so much! He recommended the best products and answered our questions efficiently. He was also so good with our dog, Oscar loves him! I had to leave for two weeks while my husband was here and Stuart gave me a hug before I left and after I came back, he’s so personable! We trusted him to be in our house when we were out and to us that was incredibly important! I wouldn’t have picked anyone else to do our bathroom project! And we will probably call him again to do more projects around the house. Thank you so much, Stuart!

I hired Stuart to remodel my 1980s master bathroom and I’m so glad I did. He is the whole package: punctual, professional, and very reasonable on cost. We talked through the project and worked together from start to finish to make sure it was what I envisioned. It was always a pleasure having him around. Even my girls and the dog loved him! We hired Stuart this summer to renovate our 2 bathrooms. He did a good job and we were happy with the end result. The project did took longer then was expected and if there was anything that didn’t aligned with our vision, Stuart made sure to fix or change it to his best ability. He was super respectful and made sure that he communicated all the details on his work. We will definitely hire Stuart and Scottie Contracting LLC again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to have a standard pricing system as no 2 jobs are the same, that is why it is better to see whats involved before i can give a price. I do not price jobs below there value nor do i price jobs at a ridiculous amount , i think that when i give a price i am very fair to the work involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly i try to establish a relationship with the client to see if we are a good fit for each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended VA licensing course to be classified as a B class contractor.
