Greetings, I am Pastor E. Todd Stubblefield; the Senior Pastor of “In His Glory Christian Ministries” in Alexandria, Va. and “Dean Divers Baptist Church” in Manassas, Va. I am also the Staff Chaplain for the city of Alexandria Sheriff’s Office. Having been blessed to celebrate 33 years of marriage this past June 2024 to my college sweetheart and brown sugar, I understand and know the importance and value of those two words at the end of those traditional vows - I do. I truly believe in the sanctity, fidelity and prosperity of marriage. With that said, if you bless me with the opportunity to officiate your wedding, I look forward to spending some time with you premaritally to talk about this next chapter of your lives; and assisting you with the preparations of setting up your wedding. Pastor Stubblefield was an amazing officiant and really showed care with our ceremony. Though we ran late and chaos was occurring around us, he kept us focused and helped us remain calm. He made jokes to our friends and family that really kept everyone in a good mood. He truly is an amazing person and we are so thankful for his presence and making our day even more special. We had our wedding yesterday. There were people there of many different religions and denominations. I was honestly not sure how it was going to go over with everyone but kept in mind this is my wedding and it would happen how we want it. It went every smoothly and everyone was very pleased with the delivery, the content, and the meaning behind the different passages read. Afterwards, we had many guests coming up to us exclaiming how much they appreciated the ceremony. These were people very devout and solid in their beliefs that are not specifically Christian. They felt it was still appropriate and inclusive of their beliefs and religions. We were getting praise for it all night. Pastor Stubblefield was amazing and made everyone, regardless of their religious affiliation, feel welcome and included in our ceremony; something that is pretty hard to do when you are dealing with many different belief systems in one room. Thank you so much, for making our day something that so many will remember for a very long time.
