Mrs. Paula was amazing to work with for my wedding. She is not only passionate about the work she does but she truly cares about the people. I hired her to decorate my wedding and reception and I was beyond pleased with the final result. It was classy, organized, gorgeous, and all within my budget. She pays significant attention to detail. She drove up many times at her own cost to visit with me to make sure this nervous bride was pleased with how things were progressing. Mrs. Paula and her team on the day of the wedding were punctual, and professional and went above and beyond the call of duty. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone! Paula and team at savvy events are simply amazing. We reached out to her in need of a decorator for our 115 guest wedding on short notice, and she immediately took charge. With endless decorations available, Paula had everything that we needed to bring our vision to life already on hand which helped with our timing issue. She sent countless photos of what she had available that aligned with our vision and put together a mock table the very next day after initial contact. Paula worked diligently and was in constant communication with us along the way. I also can’t say enough about her integrity, 3 weeks out we were without a florist, knowing she was our only option, Paula found us beautiful flowers and still offered them at pricing that was more than fair. Her knowledge of not only design, but also of weddings in general helped us to continue moving forward quickly. Once she understood our plan, it was like she did all of the thinking for us! Any couple that’s planned a wedding knows just how much of a relief that is. The week of our wedding due to the pandemic we had several guests cancel last minute, Paula continued to work with us and make adjustments until the very last day. Our coordinator canceled due to illness the evening before the event, devastating, but Paula again stepped up and agreed to also take on the roll of coordinator, what an angel! The wedding was more beautiful than I could imagine, and Paula and team were there every step of the way. Without Savvy Events, our wedding would have been a disaster. But instead I we have beautiful memories that Paula and her team helped to create.

Last month we enlisted Paula for a 50th birthday celebration in VA Beach and to say that our experience working with her was amazing would be a complete understatement. From our first encounter all the way to the clean-up and breakdown of the event, Paula was professional, accommodating, and her work product was flawless. Our group included 15 adults and 10 children. While we originally planned to keep the celebration to adults only, she made it her business to include details specific for a separate kids friendly set-up as well. In the beginning planning stages she sent numerous pictures, presented great ideas and options, and managed our budget effortlessly. Her communication until the day of the event was consistent and she never forgot to check-in, sometimes just sending along pictures from her past events. The day of the event she showed up ready to work and needed no help or direction, she just went right into action. At one point my family was trying to put together a self-made balloon display and we were failing miserably. Instead of watching us struggle, knowing that we had not paid for this service, she simply told us to leave it with her because we were not doing it right. Her communication, attention to detail, great attitude, and integrity has gained her lifelong customers in us. Thank you Paula for being one of a kind...and a separate shout out to your husband Glen, who not only helped with the set-up but also provided tons of laughs! We will see you in February for your next challenge :)
