I was happy with the service until I found some issues that had to be addressed by my inspector during inspection. I can't do anything now, I bought the house and about to move in. Several of my power outlets don't work. A part of a wall inside the garage was damaged but the seller was hiding it - the inspector didn't notice. I saw it the other day. Uploading the picture as a proof.

Not all power outlets were accessible during the inspection as they were covered by personal items, furniture etc. Those that were accessible were tested as working. The garage was full of personal items that the seller had packed to move. A home inspector does a visual inspection, we are not empowered to move items and root behind things to discover what a seller may be covering up. This is made quite clear in our contract and the buyers agent may not have fully explained what a home inspection entails. This is a visual inspection and protocol was followed.

Our pricing for home inspections is based on the properties characteristics. We take into consideration the square footage, year built, and location of the property when determining the price for a home inspection service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers are encouraged to contact us by phone to speak with a scheduling coordinator. Our scheduling coordinators will gather all necessary information for confirming the appointment and they will notify the inspector of any specific concerns that the customer may have regarding the property being inspected.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Home Inspectors at NextDay Inspect® are licensed by the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) and the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation (DLLR). Our professionals use specialized tools, such as thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters to ensure a thorough inspection of the condition of the properties components. We provide a comprehensive report which contains annotations illustrating the areas of concern. NextDay Inspect® is certified through the International Association of Commercial and Home Inspectors (InterNACHI).
