FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to be very upfront about pricing on all of my projects. I will always send an emailed copy of my pricing to the homeowner to get approval before I schedule anything. I charge $175 for the first TV hang on drywall. Any additional TV's hung on drywall that day will only be $150 (this does not include a wall mount).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to schedule a time to look at the project before hand or at least see picture for smaller jobs. This allows me to give accurate quotes and there will be no surprises for me or my clients. I always send an emailed copy of my quote for approval before I get a job scheduled on my calendar. Once I get the approval from the client I try schedule the project as soon as possible. If the project is on the lager side, I will ask for a 50% deposit to cover the price of ordering materials. I will ask for the remaining 50% once the job is complete and the client is happy with the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 years of experience in the audio video, networking, cabling and security industry. There are very few jobs that I quote that I have not done several times before. I am CEDIA and Control 4 certified. I have my VA class C contractor's license and we are licensed and insured.
