The first consultation with Kent went very smoothly. He was polite and knowledgeable and the quote we were given was fair. However, there was a serious lack of communication after that. I did not receive any information about the project until a flat bed truck of lumber showed up at my front door without my knowledge of delivery. I had to reach out and call the office myself to find out that my project had been moved up 2 weeks earlier and they had “forgotten to call me”. This was an issue, as you have to be home at project start time, and I was not going to be home. The office manager was not pleasant to me when I explained the issue with the change in date without my knowledge. The actual fence is beautiful and was put up in 2 days. The men who constructed it were polite and quick workers. Overall, I would hire again based on my interaction with Kent (the owner) and the quality of the fence for the price. I would hope based on their other reviews, that the communication issue I experienced was just a one time thing.

Dec. 4th I received estimate/ price and start date for the 24th of Dec. to have aluminum fence installed in which I needed the fence ASAP so I cancelled my holiday trip with family. K. Poulos the estimator was very professional and appointment went very well so I put down half the cost of the total cost. From this point after initial meeting with Mr. Poulos everything was disappointing! Lack of communication was most disturbing, 1. I was called early morning on the 22nd by separate delivery drivers to drop off fencing and another driver to drop off cement mix in which I was never informed of this delivery by anyone until they called. 2. Dates were cancelled from the 24th to the 26th, I had no problem with but when the 26th came, I waited for an hour and a half to two hours before I called to be told that the installer is home sick and won’t be able to make it out until the 30th. 3. When installer was finishing up the fence, his helper was packing things up and loading the remaining cement mix, I was under the impression that I paid for the materials and didn’t understand why they were taking the remaining cement mix if I paid for it, “I was told that I didn’t pay for it but if I wanted it I could keep it and was asked, why am I trying to nickel and dime him.” I was a bit perturbed at this point and was ready for them to finish up and leave. After they took the remaining debris and cement mix etc. they left extra parts ie, screws and screw anchors on the ground in driveway which was no problem but when I took my garbage can to the road, I saw 2 fence caps nicely stacked on the street. Suffice to say, I am pleased with fence being up and if I ever use this company again, 1. the installer would need to be someone other than the one that came out. 2. Need better communication practices.
