Bringing warm west coast photography style to VA and the DC area. We love capturing happiness in every session, and have been doing it for over 7 years. I am SO overdue on this review. Sorry Rachel and Nielsen! I originally reached out to Lund Photo just for a ceremony video. After talking with Nielsen and looking at his wife Rachel’s pro folio I ask if we could do a test shoot. I had already hired a photographer but loved her style so much I was willing to lose the deposit if it was a good fit. Oh my gosh, I just loved the photos from the test shoot. They were fantastic and way more what I was looking for (even though my other photographer was very talented, just the style I envisioned was more in line with Rachel!) I hired her immediately and did not regret it at all. Unfortunately, circumstances that were not avoidable meant Nielsen could not video our wedding but Rachel brought a substitute who was lovely. Our video and photos from the wedding are amazing, I was hoping for 2-3 I absolutely love and I have 20+. My only regret was not hiring her to stay through the afterparty because I would have loved even more to be captured! Don’t hesitate, Lund Photo is beyond worth it!

Rachel is an excellent photographer and her pictures always amaze my friends and family. She has a gift for photographing people in a beautiful way that is quite stunning. Whenever anyone sees my family pictures they always want Rachel to take their family picture as well. She is amazing.

The location Rachel chose was amazing. It turned out to be very windy during our appointment but she worked around that and the pictures turned out so beautiful. She really captured the personalities of my children.

Lund photo took our engagement and bridal photos and did a fantastic job! Since the photos are my phone and computer background and hanging in our house I am constantly getting asked who took our photos because they are so beautiful. Neither me nor my husband are particularly photogenic people, but Rachel made us both look great! I would highly recommend these guys for your portrait needs.
