I perform around Richmond as a solo artist and as a multi-instrumentalist for my alternative rock band, Wkndr. Elliot is a super nice guy and from what I can tell so far, a great teacher. I've only had 2 lessons with him so far, but I've been practicing the homework he's given me have already noticed a slight bump in my ability. I'm hoping to continue the relationship and learn everything I need to k ow from him. He's very professional and keeps you on the task at hand, instead of letting you trail off and waste your time. I would reccomend Elliot to other students.

I asked Elliot to perform several songs of which his generation would normally have little knowledge. Our group is in the upper 50’s to 80’s in age, and we wanted songs from our earlier years. He mastered Welcomin” from Cabaret, and his rendition of “Stairway to Heaven “ was excellent. John Lennon himself could not have done better with Imagine. He arrived early, set up quietly, and did a great job.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
For about two weeks I worked with my friend Silas on one of his songs—he brought in a pop tune and I helped him flesh it out into a polished product. We spent a day recording his guitar and vocal parts as well as nailing down basic ideas for the song in general. I then spent the next week fleshing out the accompaniment, mixing and mastering the song, keeping him updated through the whole process. The week after we both sat with the track, discussed finishing touches and finalized the song.
