FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies, all jobs are different from the way it needs to be prep to the way I can paint it. See some houses have a basic trim package, but some have custom trim packages. So for me once I have seen the job then I can decide what needs to be done and how I can get the job done. And depending on the size of the job I may charge 20% on the start date. My prices are also reasonable and fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer is first introducing myself. From there the customer and I will walk their project while they explain their vision to me. Sometimes I lend some advice and sometimes the customer just know what they want. After I secure the job I come in and prep, paint, then clean. Then I inform my customer that the project is completed. My goal is to give quality work in a timely fashion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training all stems from on the job training. I Started out as a helper 20 years ago, and over the years I've worked my way up to a supervisor then a foreman. I have gotten great praise over my career for paying attention to detail whether it was a company I worked for, a sub job I was doing or just a repaint for a customer. One thing about my profession is it's always something to learn or a different way of doing things. Trust me when you think you've seen it all, you haven't, so you always have to stay opened minded.
