- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Moving Service Details and Pricing Information Thank you for choosing our moving services. Below is an outline of the pricing and services we offer: • Minimum Service Requirement: We have a minimum service requirement of 2 hours at a rate of $100.00 per hour, totaling $200.00 for the first two hours. • Truck Fee: If we are providing a truck, a truck fee will apply: • $50.00 for a standard truck • $80.00 for a 26-ft truck • Mileage is charged at $1.29 per mile. Based on these factors, the estimated total for the first two hours will range from $262.00 to $292.00, including the truck fee and mileage (assuming 10 total miles). Each additional hour is $100.00. • Larger Moves (3-4 Bedroom Homes): For 3 or 4-bedroom homes, we will provide 4 movers at a rate of $120.00 per hour, with a minimum service time of 3 hours. • Job Duration and Number of Movers: After speaking with you over the phone, I will assess the likely duration of the move and determine how many movers will be required. • Additional Services Included: • Mattress Protection: We will provide mattress bags for transporting your mattresses. Please provide the mattress sizes so we can ensure we bring the appropriate bags. • Furniture Protection: We use moving blankets and straps to wrap your furniture, preventing scratches or damage. We also provide furniture sliders for dressers, tables, and other large items to protect your floors. • Disassembly and Reassembly: If disassembly and reassembly of furniture is required, please ensure all screws and small parts are organized in bags, ideally labeled by item (e.g., bed sets, TVs) to ensure an efficient process. Please note: These services are specifically for moves to new homes. If you are moving items into storage, mattress bags will not be included. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To expedite the booking process, I will personally call to discuss the details of your move. This will allow me to provide an accurate estimate of the time required and the number of movers needed.
