FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a pretty standard pricing for gutter cleaning and pressure washing. The number of gutters, 1 or 2 story number of down spouts, when the last cleaning was, etc. For pressure washing, the size of the home, 1 or 2 story, number of valleys the home may have, type of siding etc. If it's a driveway, deck, or walkway, the customer is wanting pressure washed, size is the key component in this instance. I always offer a discounted rate for customers that combine multiple services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introducing myself, and providing a good first impression is key to starting a business partnership, and relationship. You can usually tell everything you need to know about someone in the first 5 minutes of meeting them. After breaking the ice, I like my customers feeling as though they've know me for 20 years, the first 20 minutes after we meet, :-).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've always been a go-getter, hard worker, and quick learner. Most of my skills are self taught, when things are broken, I always preferred to fix them myself, enjoy projects, and taking something out of every situation life throws your way.
