I hired the first handyman to fix my closet shelf. He did find out the original builder didn’t attach the shelves in the studs. He supposedly fixed it but when I started to hang things, it fell again. So he came back and attached another type of shelf but it wasn’t the length of the closet and my hangers didn’t fit appropriately. I also wanted the holes patched and painted again but I guess that was too much for him. He barely had the tools to do the job. So, I hired a 2nd one. He came and “fixed” it but it came down again. He said he would come back, but I never heard from him. I texted him and asked why hadn’t he contacted me and said it’s been a lot lately. I don’t know what that means but I told him, it’s bad business not to follow through. Also, I see him on this app asking for more work so that didn’t make sense. This one wasn’t pressed about the painting and holes either that were left and his tools were lacking. w Both 2 previous left pieces off and unfinished work. This time I hire ABC Perez Inc who is a honest and true handyman with care, quality work, and follow through. He also went above and beyond when he found another problem. He cut the sheet rock out and place a small board in the wall to hang the end of the shelf. He finished my closet and it looks just like the original shelf but properly installed. He even noticed a slight bubble in the paint and called after the paint dried to come back and fix it without me even asking. The first 3 pictures are a combination of the first 2 handyman and the condition they left my closet in. The last 6 pictures are from ABC Perez that details the process of completed work.
