I have a home warranty, which includes, roofing repairs. So about 3-4 months ago. They sent out a smooth talking roofer. Well dressed, said everything was going to be alright. Did the work and off they went. Fast forward to last week. We had a massive thunderstorm, then several inches of snow. This is when I noticed my drywall above my fireplace was showing shadows right in front between ceiling and wall. So I monitored it for a few days thinking I missed these shadows and they were just left over from the warranty co. repair. Nope they started to form ever so slightly, until I knew, the old roof repair work must be faulty. Enter Nik with ABS. I looked up roof repair on Thumbtack and of course went with the roofer that had several rave reviews, which I carefully went through. Satisfied, I sent him a message and he not only messaged me back, but was close by and arrived that same day 15 minutes later. I explained everything to him, showed him the area above the fireplace, and he began to troubleshoot the roof immediately. I noticed he was reassuring, confident and knew what he was talking about. Something about Nik’s delivery put me at ease and after he cleared the snow off my deck he brought in a ladder and gave me a clear picture of what was wrong. Then he gave me a reasonable quote, scheduled to come out Monday. His previous visit was Friday, He came on-time ready to work and took several before pictures. I couldn’t believe the subpar, almost fraudulent work the other ‘roofer’ did. He spent several hours here, finding new issues and fixing them, but staying firm on his original quote. His after pictures made my day. Nik explained everything they did, then everything he did, like a roof doctor. I am one happy customer, and highly recommend him. He is extremely knowledgeable. He also quoted me on a new roof and his pricing is very, very reasonable. I’ve been around a long time, and used many contractors in the last 20+ years and this one is going on my short list. Nick was responsive, and was able to get out there to check on my roof within a day! He evaluated the roof thoroughly, took multiple pictures and explained the issue very clearly. He gave me multiple options for solutions, and fixed it within the same day. Very affordable too!
