I highly recommend Paramount Tax. Marcus carefully walks you through the tax return to ensure that all deductions and credits are properly captured. He lets you know what to expect from the IRS or State and gives you clear timeframes. He is also one of the more affordable tax services in the Richmond area! I highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Simple returns are about $200+. I charge by the form so the more complicated returns (schedules C and Schedule E) can creep up closer to $500. My average return is about $325.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally have the customer book an appointment, then I will set them up in my online portal. 90% of my clients come to the office for tax prep, but I am open for virtual preparation as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For my degrees I have a bachelors from WVU and a post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting and MBA from VCU. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). I am also an Advanced Quickbooks Proadvisor.
