I recently had the pleasure of working with Julianne Tripp Hillian, a talented local photographer in Richmond, Virginia, whom I found on Fiverr. Her portfolio immediately caught my eye, and after speaking with her via text, I was impressed by her courteous and professional demeanor. Julianne offered a fair price for her services, and I later learned she graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University's Fine Arts Program with a major in photography. Her years of freelance experience have clearly paid off, as she recently transitioned to full-time work due to her growing reputation and exceptional skill.
Julianne arrived at my home with professional equipment and meticulously photographed 44 of my artworks. She ensured the lighting was perfect and was incredibly flexible, providing me with the raw data files so my website development team and art director could handle post-production. Her attention to detail was evident as she spent over 4 hours making sure each shot was flawless, even managing to photograph pieces behind glass without any glare or reflections. She checked every photo for odd shapes and reflections, demonstrating her commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Julianne's friendly nature and ability to listen to clients' needs make her a rare find and an incredible value. She followed up after the session to ensure I was satisfied with the photos, which further showcased her dedication to her clients. During the short time I met with Julie, we covered so much ground with the shoot. Not only does she know what she’s doing, but she makes the session fun and relaxed so it’s impossible to feel nervous! Her photo editing skills are great/quick, too. She was prepared with multiple lighting, backdrop & location setups so we could see what the right fit was for me. I will be booking my next session soon!
