FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $1.00 per Minute. I offer 10-Minute “Tune-ups”, 30 or 60-Min “Practice” sessions and 2-Hour on-course “Play with a Pro” experiences. All coaching and costs can be shared by up to 3 people at the same time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know the student first. Their athletic background, their interests and abilities. We look at your instincts to find a baseline. As teaching is relating so that someone can understand something… I relate the golf swing to many things to make sense of it so you can learn and commit to an approach that will help you. Then coaching comes into play, as we develop a long-term plan for improvement. Lastly, I believe a coach must see you play in order to know how to best help you in practice. Did you ever have a sports coach help you in practice that didn’t see you play? Would you have been as likely to listen to or trust them if they didn’t? It is my opinion that I don’t think the typical “golf instruction” model makes sense to athletes. However, I believe that my approach to teaching and coaching does. I’m great at helping beginners learn the game and even better at helping good athletes become great golfers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up working at a golf course and knew I wanted to be a golf professional. I graduated from Penn State University’s (Professional Golf Management Program) in 2003 and got my PGA Membership in 2007. I have 23 years experience in the golf business. I am a PGA golf professional, US Kids Golf Certified Coach, member of the Positive Coaching Alliance and an Eyeline Golf Certified Putting Coach. I understand everything about the game of golf well enough to help you do the same, by simplifying the complicated and teaching you an easy, efficient and effortless way to play.
