I recently hired Fred to install a shower door and I couldn’t be happier with the service and results. Fred is super nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. He arrived on time, stay in constant communication with me and the work was top notch. I’ve used several contractors and by far, Fred is one of the best. I will definitely use him for future projects.

Mr. Fred is a life saver! We needed a number of things done on our home before we were able to put it up for sale and he was the BEST. Professional and excellent at his work. Responded in a timely manner to every request (there were many) and brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his craft. Some of the things he fixed for us: gable replacements, porch railing corrections, garage door corrections, toilet repairs, door repairs, vent repairs, etc. His upbeat and kind attitude was a welcome breath of fresh air in a stress filled housing market. You are in good hands if Mr. Fred helps you with a project. Highly recommend.

Beware of this "pro". I hired Fred to install 2 sets of steps and repair ban board along the siding of my house. We agreed on price and set a time to begin work. The first issue I have with Fred was his inability to work consistently throughout the job as he had medical issues to attend to. I get it, we all have troubles and I didn't make a huge issue out of this, problem was the lack of communication. He came very sporadically and left the site (my house) a mess. I had to pick up after him and wipe down outside surfaces such as: table and chairs, outdoor kitchen, the concrete pad etc. My recommendation to him would be, if you have to leave a job site for multiple days before you return, you need to pick up and clean after yourself - we aren't your sandbox. He did he have a couple guys working with him. One in particular wandered around my yard collecting seedlings from the Japanese Maple we have in our font yard. Again not a major issue, but it's not amazing to be in your home and have a stranger wandering all over your property. Major issue One of the things we hired him for was replacement of the water valve to our hose outside our house. Replacement and shifting it over about 2 feet. In order to do so, he needed to shut off the main water supply but he didn't know where this was. In looking for the solution, he explored the house turning knobs, pulling fuses etc. He ended up pulling out the fuse to the septic pump, leaving the fuse door open, and setting the fuse on top of the box. Not only was this the incorrect way of shutting off the main water, it was also the incorrect way to remove that particular fuse. It gets pulled out, flipped to the off position, and placed back. He never replaced the fuse. And he never communicated to me that he did this. This caused a backlog in the septic pump and an alarm going off in my garage. My wife and I conducted some research which suggested we needed to pump the septic as it could be clogged. Cost: $675. While the service workers were pumping out the septic, they saw the fuse and basically helped me determine that the septic was not the issue, just needed the fuse to be replaced. It worked. I asked Fred to split the cost with me as he is at least in part, responsible for the issue. Instead, he ended up fielding my calls and ghosted me. Fred is a good option if you're looking for cheap work that doesn't need to be quality. I personally, would not work with him again. Check up after everything he does, you'll need to directly manage him as he is incapable of doing so himself.

This review comes a bit late. So I hired Fred to do a picket fence install a few months back. He was able to work with me on my specific situation and made it happen. He got the project done despite the extremely warm weather. Great work and thanks again.
