My name is Greg B. Cornett and I am an official court-appointed civil marriage commissioner serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. I specialize in officiating non-religious elopements & small intimate wedding ceremonies but I have experience with large weddings with all the trappings as well. My goal is to make sure you and your partner have a special, memorable day and that your guests feel welcome and comfortable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To arrive on a price, we will talk about the location of the ceremony, whether it's a small, simple ceremony or a more complex event with groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc. I also offer advice on vows, if necessary.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll make sure you know the process of getting a wedding license and then we can talk about the wedding date and where you'd like to have the ceremony.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am appointed by the State of Virginia and credentialed in Tennessee to perform weddings. My ceremonies are non-religious in nature.
