- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm about HALF of what most "mobile DJs" charge because i really LOVE doing this as a side thing!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially meet in person or at least over the phone, depending on the distance and everyone's schedules. I like to learn about the details of the event, involved parties etc. And then I fill out my survey asking about types of music you want, or if you have a full playlist already selected. For weddings, I'll get the names of the wedding party, first song...etc. so that we can then build a schedule of the days events.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years in broadcasting and MCing/hosting events for many varying organizations got me my voice (I still do some voice over work). Also, being the main stage MC and stage manager for a giant music festival here in VA, I will keep your event running smoothly and stay on time.
