FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As an Ethan Allen designer, I can help you take advantage of any seasonal sales, financing options, and custom options to help you put together the furnishings and finishes you need to help your home become both beautiful and functional.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial step is a free design consultation to discuss the project and determine what type of design help best suits the customer's project. Then it is time for the design process itself, where I create selections, recommendations, and a digital design with options to suit the customer's request. Once the initial design has been completed, I present my thoughts and best options to the customer, and we discuss any changes or adjustments. This process pace is set by the customer, and I am happy to offer as much or as little design support as needed! Many customers break down the final design into multiples phases: Phase I for new paint/windows/flooring, Phase II for major furniture pieces/investment pieces, and Phase III for finishes and accessories.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with my MFA degree in 2016 and then began my interior design and decorating work in 2017. I teach digital and traditional arts and design at the college level, and have extensive experience in fine arts, art selection, principles and elements of design, color theory, and space planning. I am also a professional real estate photographer and have experience staging and styling homes.
