FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't believe flooring fits into a "standard" pricing mold. There are so many variables which need to be explored on every project, that one who issues a "standard" price, is not checking all the variables which will affect you during your project. I will offer you the best price, for the best service, fairly and fully disclosing every issue which could affect your flooring investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin the communication by asking a few questions to determine what types of materials you are looking for. Then we schedule an appointment to show you the samples and measure. We can then provide you with an all inclusive, itemized quote. No hidden fees or charges.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started in a flooring warehouse as a teen, where I learned the fundamentals of practical flooring applications. I then became a salesman in my 20's, a project manager in my early 30's, and a vice president of a major northern VA flooring company in my late 30's and early 40's. At each step of the way I have learned skills which add up to the experience and longevity needed in flooring to assure you of the best possible result and guidance through your flooring / renovation project. The logical current step is to branch out on my own, and bring my own experience into helping you with your flooring choices. I live local, and I am a family man with roots who will be there before, during, and after your project is completed. I believe in great service, and great products, priced fairly.
