- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unless a student is advanced, I recommend that they sign up for a half-hour lesson. My rate is $50/half hour. I don’t believe in sitting and watching a student struggle with new material while the clock is running. I give plenty of material during that half-hour for students to practice for an entire week until their next lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In addition to asking what goals the potential student has, I ask questions to find out a student's experience in the past, what study materials they have used up to now, if any, I ask them to bring those items to the first lesson. During that first lesson, I will observe the student play, analyze their skills and determine exactly where to place them and determine their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a 3 time Grammy Award Winner. One of my bands is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I have worked with many famous bands and musicians. I have travelled the world playing drums and entertaining many in venues of all sizes.
