- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee for up to five regular Notarial Acts. Since some documents only require one Notarization to cover several signatures, it is not necessarily based on the number of people signing. If there is any variation in the fee, I will let you know before we proceed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I arrive, I will need to see an unexpired government-issued photo ID for each signer. If you do not have an appropriate ID, the law does provide a workaround. Please contact me in advance if this is the case. If you can send me copies of the documents in advance, this will make the process go much smoother. It is not a requirement but is greatly preferred.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken several courses through the National Notary Association and local Virginia-specific training. While I have been trained and am confident in my work, I do carry Errors & Ommissions Insurance in case any mistakes are made.
