FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The total cost of the short and long distance relocations depends on several factors: 1) the size of the move; 2) size of the crew; 3) pickup and delivery addresses; 4) inventory list; 5) presence of stairs; 6) special requsets :). The total cost of moving = labor/hour (depending on the size of the move) + a moving fee * (may vary). * Moving fees include truck, gas, mileage, moving services and moving equipment (furniture padding with thick moving blankets; shrink wrapping; furniture disassembly and reassembly; tools, floor dollies, and hand trucks). Two hours is the minimum. There are no hidden fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A new customer liaises with our coordinator, provides all details of a planning relocation, including all idiosyncrasies of the move (e.g. the accurate date, time, жick up and delivery addresses, the presence of heavy items on the inventory list, the total number of boxes, the size of the apartment/house and etc.). We compile this information in order to estimate the customer's move, calculate time, evaluate the process, and provide the most accurate quote. Afterward, we schedule customer's moving day, send the confirmation, moving service agreement, provide a general liability insurance for the building if required. One day before the move, we follow up with out customers to remind them about the date and time of their move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All movers are trained and have experience of working in several moving companies. They are not neophytes in this field. Our family has degrees in management, economics, and public policy from Georgetown University and management certificates from the University of Maryland, and the University of Brunei Darussalam. The owner is also a professional mechanic.
