Mr. Carlos did a beautiful job on the repair of my kitchen table, which I purchased only about 1 1/2 years ago. I found Mr. Carlos to be very pleasant and knowledgeable - a real artisan. Although it took a couple of days to complete the entire process, I didn't have a problem with that at all. On the first day, Mr. Carlos came out and took a look at what I wanted done. He then gave me a quote and we arranged a time to have the work done. I appreciated the fact that he was willing to do the work there in my home. He came back the second time and asked if he could take the leaf to the table, so that he could go to the store and find the best stain/paint to match the rest of the table. On his third visit, he completed the repair in less than an hour. Prior to each trip to my house, Mr. Carlos called to let me know when he would be arriving. I greatly appreciated his communication (either by text or phone call). Mr. Carlos did such a great job, that I told him I would be hiring him again to work on some other furniture pieces for me in the future. I couldn't be happier with the result. I would recommend Mr. Carlos to everyone I know. He does great work at an affordable price.

Carlos came to my home and quickly established himself as a true craftsman. He looked at my vingtage desk (which had a detached leg) and told me his plan for its repair. He even knew that desks of that period were held together not just with nails but also with a specialized glue that was used in the 1950-60s which he had at his shop!
We agreed to a price and timeframe for the repair and Carlos took the desk back to his shop. He returned the desk well before the agreed upon two week timeframe and even took it upon himself to perform a minor repair on one of the other desk legs to make sure that it would not fall out as the other leg had done.
I paid him upon completion of the job plus some more for the extra work he put in.
I could not have been happier with Carlos, He is knowledgeable in his craft which instills confidence in his customers. I would not hesitate to call him again when the time comes for future repairs to my vintage furniture.
I know that this sight would only let me pick three items that I admired about Carlos but if I was permitted to check all five categories, I would have without hesitation!

Responded quickly to my inquiry. Came over the next day to fix a broken bed frame. Had to take the two frame pieces back to his workshop to fix. Fixed within a couple of days and put everything neatly and cleanly back together. Would recommend and hire again for another furniture repair.

Carlos is remarkable. He came to my apt quickly and looked at my grandfathers antique cabinet (probably from the 30s or 40s) that I’d heartbreakingly broken the glass door on. Not only was he able to fix it, he shined up all the brass elements, found a key for the lock I didn’t even know it was there, and even looked for antique glass to repair it with. His love of antiques and how he honors them in repair is remarkable. Carlos is number one on my list for any antique furnishing repairs or even handyman needs.
