- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure your service provider is a LICENSED contractor. According to Virginia Law, all contractors should be licensed because licensing ensures that those practicing a trade or occupation have met a minimum set of qualifications, such as experience, training, and required examination. Hire someone who has been educated and trained in this field because electrical jobs are way more complicated than what most people think. Just being an electrician does not guarantee the quality of the job. A qualified electrician will finish a job according to the national electrical code book which protects customers and their properties from hazards arising from the use of electricity. On the other hand, an unqualified electrician may not pay attention to details which might result in fire, electrical shock or an unsafe condition for the persons.
