- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FALL SPECIALS: My base price is $50.00/hr. If you purchase a package of either 6 or 12 1-hour sessions, the following discounts are applied: 6 Sessions: $229.00 ($38.00/hr) 12 Sessions $399.00 ($33.00/hr)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to beginning training sessions, I meet with the client in order to discuss their health history, their current level of training, and their goals (short and long term). I also complete a quick postural and cardiovascular assessment at this meeting. For nutritional clients, I send out a form that must be completed and sent back 24 hours prior to our meeting. From there, we meet in person (on-line clients via Skype or FaceTime) for the hour-long consult. During this time, I actually discuss with clients how to eat not just for goal attainment, but for overall health and longevity. I create a meal plan for the client and if he/she decides to follow the plan, we do a follow up two weeks later. If the plan is working, we leave it alone. If it isn't, we discuss what has been successful and what has been not so successful so we can work together to find solutions that will guide them to their success. However, my preferred method of working with nutritional clients is through the Lean Body Coaching program, as it is more comprehensive and cost-effective for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and have been working in my field for eight years. I maintain my CEUs by attending conferences, taking classes, and presenting lectures. I am also a Fitness Nutrition Specialist through NASM. I have continued my education, and I also hold my Diploma in Comprehensive Nutrition (DipCN) from Huntington University of Health Sciences. I currently work for top Clinical Nutritionist, Keith Klein, as one of his nutrition specialists for our on-line nutritional program, Lean Body Coaching.
