“Bottrell Builders” is about doing it right the first time. As a father, with 4 hard-working boys, we love the satisfaction of a job well done. There’s not much that we haven’t done. Power-washing, landscaping, trim, work, new decks, floors, siding, painting- you name it! We are a family business with little overhead, so our estimates are fair and affordable.

I hired another contractor to install a ClosetMaid system, however, that person was lousy. Davey from Bottrell came in and saved the day! He was exceptional! He arrived on time, extremely polite, and very knowledgeable about the task at hand. I have found their prices to be fair and in line with industry standards. I have finally found a great handyman! I have found our go-to handyman, Dave Bottrell. Dave and his two sons came out this afternoon to fix soffit damage caused by water and missing flashing near our gutters. Dave explained what was happening and why we had the damage. The quality of work and time put into fixing the damage shows, and I am so happy with the results. I look forward to working with Dave in the future. Again, thank you so much!!

First, although my choice above is limited, I liked everything about working with Bottrell Builders to get some needed repairs and painting done to our soffit & fascia! Dave contacted me right after receiving my request for an estimate; and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived first, followed a short time later by his son, Davey, after which they assessed the nature and scope of the job. Dave impressed me immediately with his friendly, calm nature; professionalism; knowledge base; punctuality; and honesty; and I received his estimate the next day, which was very reasonable, especially given the height of our gables. So, the job was scheduled for the following week; and, prior to the start date, Dave communicated as needed either with questions or to share pertinent information. The job took two full days to complete, partly due to discovering a couple hidden issues. But, during that time, Dave & Davey (and the rest of the crew, including son Josh): communicated as needed; were very well organized and prepared for the job; were adaptable when any new challenges arose; and demonstrated a strong work ethic, accompanied by a desire to please the customer by remaining focused on the quality of their workmanship. They truly seemed motivated to do their best at all times! Therefore, the results far surpassed my expectations for the finished project, which is simply beautiful. I highly recommend this family business and plan on using them again in the future (their busy schedule permitting)! Thanks again, Dave!

We needed 3 closet doors repaired. We had gotten the doors repaired several times but noone could truly repair the doors. Dave came on time, made a recommendation to repair, gave a fair price and co.pletes the work. The doors are much more stable than ever before.Dave thought the issue through and truly fixed the project rather than making a temporary fix.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have always been fair and honest with my customers. On several occasions, I have offered suggestions that saved customers thousands of dollars. In the end, they have always been happy, and felt like they got their moneys worth.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically come and look at the project in advance. This allows me to take pictures, measure, make suggestions, price materials, and give an assessment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a boy, we built our own home and as a teenager we built a church building. Now I’ve been in construction for over 40 years. When it comes to building, renovating, or repairing, there’s not much I haven’t had some experience with. I have four boys, and have trained them all, and two of them work with me today.
