I love to connect with everyone I photograph, I aim to capture an emotion in the moment and give you photos you will cherish forever. As long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos and the art of capturing a moment in time. My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Nature and art inspire me and I regularly explore the DMV area looking for non traditionally beautiful or off-the-beaten path spots that can be overlooked. I love meeting and connecting with people, and I always have fun with my sessions. It's an amazing gift to me that photography gives me the opportunity to create art. It's possibilities are endless and all around us in everyday life, even in little things. I incorporate light and landscape to help create memorable photos. My aim is to give you pictures you will love and treasure!

Georgette was a pleasure to work with for my wedding! She has a great energy. I knew I wanted her to be our photographer as soon as I first spoke with her on the phone. She took thoughtful pictures and clearly knew what she was doing. She came with ideas for pictures and gave clear direction but was also open to our ideas. The pictures turned out beautifully. Highly recommend Georgette to anyone looking for an amazing photographer for their special day!

From the beginning until the end, Georgette was fantastic to work with. My Fiance and I do not live in the same home - or in the same state. Coordinating between schedules and work, it can be difficult to get together. What was important to find in a photographer was reliability and availability. In looking for an engagement photographer I wanted someone laid back yet professional and someone who was open to being creative and fun while working. Georgette was swift to respond and coordinated with me to discover what Adam and I were hoping to capture; my main focus, was "us" and who we are to the core. Capture this she did and I am truly thankful that Georgette was openminded to shooting in a variety of locations, but not get caught up in a cookie cutter photography session. We took our photos in Georgetown [DC] and when I mentioned I wanted to try some shots on the stairs featured in the Exorcist, she did not shy away from the idea, rather encouraged it. We had time to change outfits to a more casual "us" after the first hour and I was thankful for the patience and encouragement. It is official, my fiance and I now have photos with us in them together - something that we have been lacking just due to our lives and where they have taken us. Georgette is simply amazing! My fiancé and I had our engagement photo session Aug 21 and were impressed with Georgette’s professionalism and communication. We are not photogenic people at all, plus we had were running late to the location but Georgette was able to keep us relaxed throughout the shoot. She was wonderful to work with and communicated her methods throughout the session. The photos came out beautiful. I have some insecurities about myself so I was worried about how the pictures would look but I was amazed at how beautiful I looked. We will definitely be reaching out to her for our wedding photos! Georgette is the best!!! After contacting her, she responded quickly and scheduled a time to talk. During the call, she provided several locations that would work for our engagement photos. Once we arrived at the location Georgette was super professional. She went above and beyond, suggesting great poses all while melting in the summer heat!!!! We can’t thank you enough!

The investment starts at $350 per hour. There is a $30 travel fee depending on distance from Centreville VA.
