FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My tuition starts out at $39/half hour session/ per student. Since often, I travel to my students, and depending on where they live, I may have a nominal surcharge for fuel and time. If the family has siblings / neighbors / etc., I give very generous discounts. Some of my students are more advanced and request 45 minute or hour lessons. I offer reduced tuition for those as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know the person; to see what it is that they need; Lessons for their child/children, themselves, concert performance, recital, memorial service or a celebration. Whatever the occasion, I know it is a priority to my clients and it becomes a priority to me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my music education degree from Shenandoah University, in Winchester, Virginia. I am always working in the studio; either recording, scoring a film, collaborating with singers and other musicians, in addition to leading classes either related to music or my church music-ministry work.
