Introduction

Hi, I have been a DJ off and on for over 20 years, from radio stations to ice rinks to local private, school, and community events. I am based in Bristow, and am working hard to establish myself as one of the area's most reliable, family friendly DJ's. Just to let you know what I can bring to the table: I have my own audio equipment (12 inch speakers, mixer, microphone). I have DJ lighting and handheld wireless mics also available for a small add-on charge. I have a solid music collection that's growing all the time, and will work with you to fit your music needs. II have established a policy of only playing clean versions or radio edits of songs. I mostly specialize in current Top 40, classic rock, oldies, and popular party favorites. I can also do private karaoke parties. This package would include hosted services with a full music library across numerous musical genres. I personally consider an event successful when I leave disappointed that I wasn't a guest for such a fun party. I work with my customers to ensure that I can set the right tone and music selections. I cannot say enough positive about Ryan. Before the event, he was very responsive and helpful with ideas. He was open to suggestions as well. The process was incredibly professional which helped me feel like I was making the right decision. At the party, he was amazing. There were a few unexpected things that came up and he just went with the flow. He was a presence without being in the spotlight. He read the crowd well and seemed to know exactly what to play to get the teenagers (and the moms) on the dance floor and having a good time. I fully recommend him for events - unless they are at the same time as any future events I have because I call dibs. He deserves all the stars! Thanks for making my daughter’s Sweet Sixteen party a success!

The BEST DJ I have had and hired for events. I wish I had known about Ving's DJ for earlier events. Now I know, he is the only one I would hire. All the guest had a blast and he was AWESOME!! He knew exactly what the audience wanted to hear. We just wish we had more hours with Ving's DJ.

I had a DJ cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency. I contacted Ving's DJ service the morning of the event. 4 hours later Ryan showed up and did a fantastic job. Many people at the event commented on how good he was and asked for his contact info. I highly recommend him and will use him for all future events!

Ving's DJ saved the day for my event. Our original plan fell through and Ryan was able to DJ on short notice. He arrived early, had exactly the right equipment for the event (a silent auction which was not silent), and contributed to the fun atmosphere and success of the event. He played the right music for the crowd and worked with us on necessary event announcements. Highly recommended!

I keep my prices competitive, and work with my customers as much as possible to meet their budgetary needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I gather as much information as possible to ensure that I am personally a fit for the audience and the musical choices of the customer. I am very transparent and provide a written estimate to all my customers. I'm always happy to answer any questions.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as a small market radio DJ in my 20's. Years passed and when I had some time in my late 30's I got back into DJ'ing at a local skating rink. This has expanded into my own side business.
