Hi! TEACHING A LIFE SKILL! Certified WSI, (water safety instructor) Lifeguard with CPR/AED. I have been teaching lessons at pools and beach settings for several years. I have an exceptional teaching technique that I use for toddlers, children, and adults. Children and Adults come in class saying “I can’t do that” or I am not coordinated. I quickly change those phrases and build up their confidence with "I will be great at this!" I always aim for my students and adults leaving my lessons with nothing but the BEST experience. Ideal for: Adults taking their first strokes and wanting to learn to swim for safety, fitness, triathlon or a vacation. Monday, Wednesday and Sunday in Maryland inside the beltway area. Tuesday and Thursday in the Springfield, Va area and surrounding. ****AFTER 3 REFERRALS YOU GAIN A FREE PRIVATE LESSON 😎💦 ***Home pools $175 Will offer a grandfathered rate for my existing guest. **monthly in the Chicago area ***Please take into consideration- I maintain a strict 24-hour notification cancellation and no-show policy to ensure all guest have the same opportunity to receive the highest quality of personal attention and care durning their swim session. Dana is the perfect swim instructor for me. I’ve been putting off taking private lessons for a long time and after every lesson I wonder why it took me so long. Dana is patient, reassuring, kind, and I never feel judged if I struggle with something. And on top of all that she somehow makes the process fun. If you’re thinking of learning to swim as an adult, stop putting it off, I highly recommend Dana!

Very effective instructor to build confidence and provide the basics in adults. I was able to use what I learned in 2 classes to increase my comfort in water and continue to improve. Will definitely hire again for more advanced skills as I go through my swimming journey.

Dana is the best swim instructor you can ask for. She is very detail and will Make you very comfortable in the water. My husband gave up on his back float and didn’t even want to give it a try until Dana gave him a lesson and he is now very comfortable and starts back stroke too. I would highly recommend Dana for anyone( kids, adults).

Dana is an amazing swim instructor. I learn so much from here in my first lesson. I am 46 and I am not swimmer at all, but with Dana I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have a lot of information to process post lesson and looking forward to the next one.
