After unsuccessfully working with many dog trainers, we are so lucky to have found Adam to help us with our dog Nash. Adam gave us the knowledge, confidence, and training skills to help correct his behavioral issues (leash aggression, frightful, unsure of new surroundings) and understand why Nash reacted the way he did. We did invest a lot of our time with Nash because we knew he needed our help to navigate through this process. Nine days of training and Nash is a new, improved version of his old self. This was done with patience, kindness, and knowledge by Adam towards Nash. Adam has left, but we now know what to do to continue to work with Nash. Thank you, Adam! We are now able to enjoy taking Nash on trails, walk him, and we are forever grateful to you.

Soon after we retired in 2021, we lost our beloved nine-year-old Golden Retriever to cancer. He was our third Golden and had the best dispositionthe perfect dog for a retired couple. We purchased a Golden puppy eight months later, assuming his temperament would be like the three Goldens that preceded him. Boy, did we get a quick education in hyperactivity! We tried classes and put him in daycare, hoping to calm him. Nothing worked.Archie is close to two years old now and we decided to try one more time before looking to find him a new home. Then we found Adam.In five intense days, Adam bonded with Archie and got him to focus on his commands. He gave us confidence to challenge Archie when he wanted to do his own thing. And, he provided us with toolsverbal and physicalto support our efforts. Archies behavior changed dramatically.Today, Archie is a work in progress, making advances daily. But, were confident that well meet the goals we set out to achieve... thanks to Adam.

Thank you, Dennis, for your heartfelt review. The progress Archie has made is a true reflection of our strong partnership and teamwork. Your and your wife’s dedication has been invaluable, and I’m grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me, especially considering the many other trainers available in the North Carolina Raleigh metropolitan area. Despite being new to the area, your confidence in my approach has been instrumental in achieving the remarkable improvements we’ve seen in Archie. It’s been a privilege to work with such committed pet owners, and I look forward to continuing our journey together to help Archie thrive.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Adam to train my foster english pointer dog, Chester, and I can confidently say that the experience has been transformative for both of us. When I first took Chester in, he was a handful he pulled aggressively on the leash, lunging at other dogs during walks pulled me off my feet, and had even jumped up on the counter in search of food. It was challenging to take him to the park or enjoy outings, as his aggressive behavior towards other dogs made it nearly impossible for adoption events. From the moment I reached out to Adam, it was clear that he was dedicated and knowledgeable about dog training. He took the time to assess Chesters specific needs and crafted a personalized training plan that was both realistic and effective. Adam's hands-on approach was incredibly helpful; he demonstrated techniques that I could easily implement during our walks and at home. One of the most beneficial aspects of working with Adam was his expert recommendations for equipment that would promote good behavior. He guided me in selecting the right collar and leash that would give me better control over Chester and reduce his tendency to pull. The tools he suggested made a noticeable difference right away.Over the course of our sessions, I saw significant improvements in Chester's behavior. Not only was he more manageable on walks, but he also learned to respond positively to commands and cues. Adams methods really encouraged me to build a strong, trusting bond with Chester, which I believe has been key in helping him overcome his issues. Thanks to Adams training, I can now take Chester to the park and enjoy outings without the constant worry of him lunging at other dogs. Its incredible to see how far weve come, and Im genuinely grateful for Adam's support and guidance through this journey. If youre looking for a dog trainer who is knowledgeable, patient, and effective, I highly recommend Adam. He has made a world of difference in Chester's life, and I believe he can do the same for any dog in need of training. Thank you, Adam, for all your help!

Recently adopted a 2.5 year old Doberman that was very reactive to other dogs and people. We were referred to Adam and his knowledge of the breed and her issues was invaluable. After training with Adam we were able to take her to a crowded restaurant, Home Depot, and for a walk in a very busy beach town. I am amazed at the progress we made. She can now be the best dog she can be. Thank you!!!
