I am Ordained through the non-denominational Universal Life Church, I can performs weddings across the country, including New York State. I will customize a ceremony to meet your needs, and personalities. I am a LGBT welcoming minister. I have been ordained since April 2012. I have been happily married to the same partner for 20 years. My fees are flexible, from $100-$150, depending on whether you want me at the rehearsal, and or to run the rehersal. I will travel, at a charge of $.55 a mile once 50 miles are exceeded from my office. Finding an officiant is an important part of your special day. So, i am happy to meet with you first, to get to know you (at no charge), and see if we are a good fit for each other. While I would be honored, please do not feel obligated to have me attend the reception. I became an ordained, because I felt it important to serve my community, and make myself accessible to conduct weddings some would refuse. I believe we all have a spiritual right to love, honor, cherish, and be legally and spiritually married to the person we love, no matter sex. creed, religion, or lack of religion.

Ms. Christine married my husband and I in March 2013. She is such a peach. She was professional, yet laid back, and walked us through the whole process. She had some great suggestions, that we did decide to encorporate into our wedding. When planning our wedding, I was told the Music, and food were the most important things. Well, I disagree! Ms. Christine was just as, maybe even more important than those other things. She helped make our day memorable!

Christine did a marvelous job at my wedding. She helped us with our vows, accommodated all our crazy requests, and helped make our day even more special. My wife and I were concerned we would not find someone comfortable with marrying us, as we are both women. But, she didn't stutter, bat an eyelash, or make us feel uncomfortable. She is a welcoming, open person, that showed us she honored the inherent worth of all people.

Christine made mine and my wife's day very special. Her attention to detail was impeccable. We hired her at the last minute, because the other officiant we hired was suddenly hospitalized. She accepted the job with only 2 days notice. Even with the short notice, Christine still managed to customize a beautiful ceremony for us. The Hand Fastening ceremony she suggested was quite wonderfull. She took the time, over Skype, to get to know us. Of course most importantly, it was delightful that she had no reservation in performing a marriage to two women.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$100 per Ceremony. $.55 a mile after 50 miles past my office. If the ceremony is 100+ miles away, and i am needed at the rehearsal, accommodations are added to the cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will either sit together, Skype, or talk over the phone so we can get to know one another. after deciding if we are a good fit, I will go over what it is they are looking for in a wedding ceremony. Do they want it to be simple, traditional, or contemporary. tailoring their ceremony to their needs and wants.
