We have a 40 year old home that we have been updating since we purchased it in 2020. We contacted Amelia Construction through Thumbtack in regards to getting an estimate to replace our old deck. Dealing with Amelia Construction and it's owners Verner and his wife Michelle, was a great experience. He listened to what we wanted, ( we were increasing the overall deck size ), and was up front in costs, materials, and time needed to execute the job. He actually came in less expensive that what a few other companies had estimated and executed the job in a much quicker time frame than anticipated. Their team, including a big shout out to Santiago, even identified a potential issue and repaired that as well. Verner stayed in constant contact, and answered many questions that we had throughout the process. My wife and I are thrilled about our new deck! We feel that it's so well built that it will last years beyond us. Because of the deck experience we had, it was no question who we would hire to help in our bathroom remodel. We had a tub and shower surround and wanted to have that removed and replaced with tile with new fixtures. We also wanted the sheet vinyl floor replaced with ceramic tile. Again, another great experience. Verner actually addressed a plumbing issue that was unknown to us and repaired that as well. Michelle finished the project with an amazing paint job and we couldn't be happier with the finished project. We are now planning our next project and already know who we will be calling!

I had home remodeling in the kitchen, master bath, family room and painting work with them. Cannot say enough nice things about Verner and Michelle (owners). They did a fantastic job and were on top of everything throughout the six weeks. Perfection to detail, good quality work and meeting aggressive deadlines were at the forefront. I would use them again in future and would highly recommend them. Thank you Amelia Construction.

Amazing job! Amelia construction painted our living room, office and master bedroom; plus did touch ups in the guest bathroom and bonus room. They were responsive, polite and provided suggestions on what we could do to improve the aesthetic of each room. Overall, we enjoyed working with them and will hire them for future projects.
