FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer four or six lesson discount packages. All payments are made in advance and are non-refundable. To continue with the discount package all students must pay for another set of lessons on the fourth lesson or the last lesson of their package. Some students pay for 8 lessons or more. If payment is not received on the last lesson of the discount package a $35.00 late fee will be added. All four lessons must be taken within 30 days from the start of the first lesson. A la Carte lessons are $85.00 each. Every lesson must be confirmed on the day of no less than three hours before the lesson time via text or email. A $35.00 cancellation fee will be charged if the student does not reschedule the lesson 24 hours in advance and forget to use the reschedule feature of the calendar link provided to all students. Teachers must have confirmation before driving to any student. If there is an emergency please use the calendar link to reschedule the lesson to avoid the cancellation fee of $35.00 and text the teacher at least three hours before the scheduled time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I work with all customers on an individual basis to see what their needs are. I ask them questions to see the goals of this customer and how much time they have to devote to achieving their musical goals. After asking these questions we start the process of helping them reach their goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have attended gift and talented programs since I was 14 years old on the campuses of Norfolk State University, Hampton University and Old Dominion University. I attended the Governor's School for the Arts a prestigious high school program for talented high school students. I was also selected to be a part of the Julliard Experience an intensive weekend program for 50 students around the country interested in attending the Julliard School of Music. I attended Shenandoah Conversatory of music on a full scholarship for undergraduate studies. I have performed around the world as a violinist and vocalist in both solo and chamber music performances.
