Illuminated Electric was very professional and much appreciated. Amongst the many electrical work that needed to be done, I needed a few high ceiling light fixtures replaced. Wish I could say enough about my experience but bottom line, Darryn was extremely professional, showed up as scheduled, excellent value, came on a Sunday, did not waste any time getting the job done and was actually very pleasant to chat with while he worked. Darryn did a great job accommodating our needs, installing a new line for our induction oven with minimal holes and on a short timeline. He left the home clean and him and his father were courteous and professional throughout the process. He even took the extra initiative to move our old range and install the new one, so we wouldn’t be stuck waiting for the delivery company to come back 5 days later. I will certainly recommend Darryn and Illuminated Electric, and will be calling on them again for our next electrical project.

Darryn is now my go-to for electrician work. He did an excellent job hanging the ceiling fan light combo fixtures and adding recessed lights in my basement. He had to add wiring in spaces that weren't easily accessible (including a vaulted ceiling) and a bit more work was required than we expected, but he made it happen and stayed until the job was done! Professional and does quality work at a fair price. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As much as i would love to give free quotes like i have in the past, it is very costly when you have to pay for leads , drive to a customers house for free, give a free quote and dont get hired because you charge $20 more than another Thumbtack Pro. I charge a $100 quote fee after you have booked me to ensure that no one's time or money is waisted. This fee is added to the overall estimate. I can do free video chat estimates if preferred.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I've evaluated the job I usually am able to do the job the same day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to an apprenticeship with I.E.C for 4 years
