FAQs

Normally $70 per hour-long weekly lesson. Remote lessons are $60. No minimum, though students generally choose to pay for each month in advance. Excused lessons result in makeup lessons or credit into the next month. 24 hour notice is required if a lesson is missed for any except emergencies. Either way, makeups can usually be scheduled.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If we want to move forward we get out our calendars and pick a weekly time slot that's convenient for both of us and set up our first lesson. There's no requirement to sign up or pay for more than one lesson at a time, though you may want to prepay a block of lessons for convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had music classes all through school and had a music and music theory concentration in college. Since then I've been learning both in bands I play in and through teaching. I Stay up on the blogs and forums, books, magazines, and do research related to my books.
