- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private Lessons: $85 for 45mins You get a discount when purchasing packs of lessons! Each private lesson is personalized to you. Your first lesson will include an evaluation of goals and previous dance experience to help get you on the right track. Ongoing students will be provided notes and personal home practice goals. Performances: Depending on the event my normal prices can range from $99 through $300. Contact me so we can discuss prices for what YOU need. Book 5 or more performances with me and get 15% off! Example of possible events you can invite Brittany to perform Belly Dance: Weddings, Corporate Events, Small Gatherings, Birthday Parties, Bachelorette Parties, Baby Showers, Restaurant and Hookah Lounge Shows, and more!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For dance lessons: Your first lesson will include an evaluation of your goals as well as previous dance experience so I can get you on the right track! Ongoing students are provided with notes and personal practice goals. For Belly Dance Performances: After you ask for a quote, I will contact you through the Thumbtack messenger to confirm your information and ask any questions I have about your gig. You are free to ask me any questions you have at that point. After you pick which package you'd like, I send you a performance contract and you pay a deposit to reserve my time. Once the deposit is paid and the contract is signed, you've official booked me for your event!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brittany is a professional dancer and fitness instructor with a varied dance background. She focuses on American Cabaret Style Belly Dance and American Rhythm Style Ballroom Dance. Brittany grew up with training in tap, jazz, ballet, and twirling. After her first belly dance class in 2013, she fell in love with the art form. In 2017, she began performing with Final Form Fusion and with Habeeba's Dance of the Arts in Columbus. Later in 2018, she decided to change careers and decided to jump head-first into full time teaching. Brittany also earned a Group Fitness Certification from the American Council on Exercise in 2019. In addition to receiving instruction from Top Hat and Habeeba's, Brittany has also taken lessons from former members of Bal Anat, Louis Van Amstel, and Jonathan Roberts.
